Anthony Ramos is a Grammy Award-winning artist and Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actor whose dynamic career spans music, film, television, and theater. He is best known for originating the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the groundbreaking Broadway production and film adaptation of Hamilton, earning an Emmy nomination, and for starring as Usnavi in In the Heights, which garnered him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.

Most recently, Ramos starred in Marvel’s Disney+ series Ironheart and voices Mr. Piranha in DreamWorks’ The Bad Guys 2. His film credits include leading roles in the box office hits Twisters and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, as well as standout performances in A Star Is Born, Dumb Money, and HBO’s In Treatment. He is also set to star in and executive produce FX’s The Beauty and appears in an upcoming Netflix film directed by Academy Award-winner Kathryn Bigelow.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and of Puerto Rican descent, Ramos continues to inspire audiences worldwide through his artistry, authenticity, and commitment to storytelling.
